February 2011 – Little Scream Music Video (Montreal)
February 16th, 2011 – !F AFM Instanbul International Independent Film Festival
!F AFM Instanbul International Independent Film Festival has invited Clea Minaker, to create a performance for the opening of the festival in Istanbul with Candas Bas and dancers.
The performance will be developed in Instanbul in collaboration with a local dance collective, çıplak ayaklar. The Istanbul International Independent Film Festival will be screening, Look At What the Light Did Now, a documentary about Feist and her collaborative process, on February 17, 2011, Clea and the shadow team will be present for a Q and A after the film.
February 3rd, 2011 – Push Pitch Assembly (Vancouver)
Clea is among 8 company/artists invited to the Push Pitch Assembly, at Push International Performing Arts Festival in Vancouver B.C. Clea will be pitching her upcoming solo performance, The Book of Thel, based on the poem by William Blake. She began working with this idea in July 2010 while in residence at Tas de Sable, in Amiens France. The performance is inspired by pre-cinematic projection techniques…à suivre…
